What it is for
A new number sends only a few messages in the first days and ramps up, so WhatsApp does not block it. Warm-up applies to Broadcasts.Who can do it
Only Owner and Admin can configure it. Everyone else sees the screen with a lock and the text “Only the Owner or an Admin can configure this”. It only exists on WhatsApp QR code inboxes (in Fusion, it applies to the QR Code side). It does not appear on Official inboxes.Where to click
Settings › Channels, under WhatsApp: click Manage and open the Settings tab. The Number warm-up section is there.Step by step
1
Turn on warm-up
Use the Turn on number warm-up switch. On a new inbox, it may turn on by itself: you will see “turned on automatically because the box is new”.
2
Set where it starts
Under Start with, enter how many messages per day on the first day (from 5 to 500).
3
Set how long it lasts
Under Warm up for, enter the number of days (from 4 to 30). The system saves on its own when the value is valid.
4
Follow progress
The screen shows “Day X of Y · up to N messages today”, how many have already been sent today, and the date it started. The Daily warm-up limit chart shows the ramp.
What happens next
After the last day: “no warm-up limit”. A badge shows the status: “Warming up · day X of Y · N/day”. In Broadcasts, you see “Today: (sent) of (limit) sent”. If the inbox has already sent the day’s limit, the broadcast continues after midnight, without pausing. You may also see “(number) waiting for warm-up”. Restart from day 1 goes back to the starting limit (the system asks for confirmation). Turning it off also asks for confirmation: “This box will send with no warm-up limit. New numbers are more likely to be blocked.” Turning it back on starts again at day 1. When off, the inbox sends with no warm-up limit (only the Broadcasts hourly limit).Common errors
- “Use 5 to 500.” (Start with value out of range)
