With white label, the app, sign-in, emails, links, and PDFs show the agency’s brand in place of the STChat brand. Organizations inherit the agency’s brand. Only the agency Owner and Admin change the brand and the domain. Other portal users see the screens without being able to save.

Brand

Under Brand, set up:
  • Business name: shown in tab titles, in emails, and in place of “STChat” in texts.
  • Logo for the light theme and for the dark theme: PNG, WebP, or JPEG up to 512 KB, with a transparent background.
  • Icon (favicon): a square PNG, from 64 to 1024 px (512 px is recommended), or ICO, up to 512 KB.
  • Colors: primary, accent, sidebar, and top bar, in the #RRGGBB format.
  • Support e-mail: shown in the Help menu and in emails.
If a color has low contrast as text, the portal warns you. Buttons stay readable, because the text color on top of the brand color is computed. The preview shows sign-in and the app in the light and dark themes. Until you save, clients see the default brand.

Email sender

The sender has a name, a reply-to address, and a sending domain. Until the sending domain is verified, emails go out from the default address with the agency’s name. The sender is changed in the agency’s email settings, and only the Owner can make that change.

A client’s own brand

In each organization, you choose between using the agency’s brand or giving the client their own brand, with panel name, logo, icon, colors, and sign-in subtitle. Blank fields use the agency’s brand.

Own domain

Under Domain and e-mails, you make the app of your organizations open at your address. The app, forms, pages, and scheduling use this domain, and sign-in emails go out with the agency’s brand.
1

Enter the address

Use a subdomain, like app.youragency.com. The main domain is not accepted.
2

Create the DNS records

At your DNS provider, create the two records the portal shows, a CNAME and a TXT. It can take up to 24 hours to apply.
3

Verify

STChat checks the records every 5 minutes, for up to 24 hours. If something is wrong, the portal says which record to fix.
4

Certificate

Once DNS is verified, the HTTPS certificate is issued and renews on its own.
Each agency has one domain. A domain already used by another agency is refused. When you remove the domain, everything goes back to the default address: anyone signed in must sign in again, and links already sent with the old domain stop working.
