What it is for

The statement is each client organization’s monthly bill. It comes out on the 1st, with the previous month, and the charge goes out through the agency’s Stripe.

Who can do it

Only the Owner and Admin charge and void statements. Only the Owner edits the statement details (tax ID, address, email, phone and footer).

Where to click

In the portal, open Statements (/extratos). The rules are in Billing settings (/extratos/configuracoes).

Step by step: follow and charge

1

Choose the month

Use Previous month and Next month. The cards show the total, Paid, Overdue and To receive.
2

Filter

Use the views All, Pending, Paid, Overdue and Voided, or Search organization.
3

Charge

Click Charge now on the open statement, or Charge all. The payment link goes by WhatsApp and email, depending on whether the organization has a phone and an email.
4

Mark an outside payment

Under Mark as, choose Paid, Overdue or Pending. If the organization was suspended, Mark paid and reactivate appears.
Other actions: PDF, Copy link, Postpone 7 days (when automatic suspension is on) and Void, which asks for the reason. A paid statement can’t be voided.

Step by step: set up billing

1

Open Billing settings

Under Closing and due date, choose the due day, from 1 to 28.
2

Fill in Statement details

Enter the tax ID, address, contacts, the How to pay text and the Footer. Name, logo and color come from Brand; use Open Brand.
3

Check the dunning sequence

Under Dunning, use Open dunning. See Get paid by your clients through Stripe.
4

Save

Click Save. It applies from the next statement.

What happens next

When the client pays through Stripe, the statement changes to Paid. Dates appear in your browser’s time zone.

Common errors

  • “Connect Stripe to charge”: without Stripe, statements are only for tracking.
  • “Connect Stripe to charge everyone at once.”
  • “Could not generate the PDF. Try again.”
  • “Could not save. Try again.”
  • “Choose a day from 1 to 28.”
  • When voiding: “already paid” or “cancel the open charge first”.
