# Flow executions and errors

> See every time a flow ran, understand the statuses, and fix what failed.

## What it's for

The **Executions** tab shows every time a flow ran, the path it took, and where it stopped. It's where you find out why something didn't go out.

It appears if the agency has enabled the Flows module for the organization.

## Who can do it

Anyone with access to Flows sees the executions. **Resume** and **Rerun** are for Owner and Admin only: the screen says "Only Owner and Admin resume or rerun."

## Where to click

**Flows › Executions**. Filters: **Live**, **All**, **Failed**, **Waiting**, **Tests**; search by contact, phone, or ID; **All flows**; period (**Today**, **7 days**, **30 days**, **All**). In **My flows**, the **View** button on the failures alert takes you to the failures.

## Step by step

**1. Start with the failures**

Click **Failed** and choose an execution from the list.

**2. Read the detail**

See **Start**, **Duration**, **Contact**, and the **Path taken**, block by block. **The execution failed** gives the reason; **See block** takes you to the block with the problem.

**3. Fix and resume**

Use **Open in editor**, fix the block, and come back. In **Before resuming**, choose **Resume from the failed block** (keeps what was already done) or **Rerun from the start…** (opens a confirmation with the preview).

## What happens next

Statuses of an execution: **Running**, **Waiting** ("Resumes" at the set time), **Completed**, **Failed**, **Canceled**, **Stopped: the contact replied**, **Removed from flow**, **Removed by the X flow**, and **Removed by another flow**. Each step shows **Completed**, **Error**, **Skipped**, **Simulated**, or **Waiting**.

On a rerun, **Skip what was already done (recommended)** avoids repeating effects. Steps with an uncertain result ask for a choice: **Try again** or **Already done**.

A flow's health appears as **ok**, **attention**, or **failing**, depending on the share of failures in the period.

## Common errors

* **This block ("type") is not executed by the engine yet.** The execution stopped here. Replace the block.
* **The engine does not recognize the action type.** Replace the block.
* **The module used by this block is turned off for this organization.** Ask the agency to turn it on.
* **Couldn't check the block list.** The contact has no phone or the check failed.
* **This block couldn't finish.** Check the block's settings and try again.
* **Not sent: outside 24 h, no template.** On Official WhatsApp, choose an approved template. Other causes: **the customer didn't write in the last 24 h**, **a template field has no value or default**, **Meta rejected or paused the template**. The alert shows **Choose template**.
* **Could not resume. Nothing was repeated.**
* **Could not rerun.**
* **Webhook with a 401 error.** The correct `X-Webhook-Secret` header is missing.
* **Couldn't read the executions.** Try again.
