# Calendar

> Overview of the Calendar: calendars, appointments, public page, check-in, queue, and Google Calendar.

## What it's for

The Calendar brings together calendars, appointments, the public page, reminders, and integrations. It appears in the menu as **Calendar** and opens at `/calendar`.

Each calendar has its own availability, its own booking link rules, and its own people who take appointments. Use one per person, room, or service.

## Who can do it

Anyone with access to the screen sees the calendar and creates appointments. Calendars are created and configured by the Owner or an Admin of the organization.

It appears if the agency has enabled the Calendar module for the organization. It is split into submodules, and the agency turns each one on or off. If a submodule is off, the matching feature does not appear.

## Where to click

Open **Calendar** in the menu. At the top are the tabs **Agenda** (where you see and book times) and **Settings** (calendars, availability, link, and Google Calendar). Two tabs only appear for the Owner and Admin, when the agency has enabled the module: **Packages** (session packages: sell several sessions of a service at once) and **Records** (care record templates). The screen also has the buttons **Offer**, **New appointment**, and **New calendar**. The views are **Day**, **Week**, **Month**, and **List**.

## Submodules

| Submodule | What it does |
| - | - |
| Appointments | Calendars, appointments, recurrence, and offers. |
| Public booking page | The customer books alone through the `/book` link. |
| Reminders | Confirmations and reminders by WhatsApp and email. |
| Google Calendar | Sync with Google Calendar. |
| Video call (STMeet) | Video room in the appointment. |
| Waitlist and walk-ins | Waiting list and service without an appointment. |
| Packages and gift cards | Session packages and gift cards. |
| Care records | Patient records and record templates. |
| Resources | Rooms and equipment reserved in the appointment. |

## Where to start

**1. Create the first calendar**

See [How to create a calendar](https://docs.stchat.app/en/subcontas/criar-calendario.md).

**2. Set the hours**

See [Hours and availability](https://docs.stchat.app/en/subcontas/horarios-e-disponibilidade.md).

**3. Book appointments**

See [How to schedule an appointment](https://docs.stchat.app/en/subcontas/agendar-atendimento.md).

**4. Send the link to the customer**

See [Public booking page](https://docs.stchat.app/en/subcontas/pagina-publica-de-agendamento.md).

## Google Calendar

In **Settings**, the **Connect Google Calendar** button links your Google account. Once connected, you can send appointments to Google and block, in the links, the times that are busy there. Events that came from Google appear as read-only. To change one, edit it in Google Calendar itself.

## Video call

When scheduling, you can use **Add STMeet video call**. The link is created when you schedule and goes in the Google invite and in the WhatsApp confirmation.

## Public page

The customer books through the calendar's public link. If the agency uses its own domain, the page also opens on it. See [White label](https://docs.stchat.app/en/agencias/white-label.md).
