# Agency getting started guide

> Create the agency account, choose the plan, and get the first client ready in the portal.

The agency portal is at portal.stchat.app. This guide covers the path from sign-up to the first client.

## Create the agency account

**1. Sign up**

Fill in the agency sign-up in the portal. You receive a confirmation e-mail.

**2. Confirm the e-mail**

The link in the e-mail opens the agency portal. If the link does not open the portal, ask for a new confirmation e-mail.

**3. Choose the plan**

On the plan selection screen, select the Supporter Plan or the Conventional Plan.

Anyone who ended the Supporter Plan can subscribe to the Conventional Plan.

## Deadline to have a plan

An agency without a plan has until November 20, 2026 to subscribe to one. After that date, the agency dashboard is locked until any plan, Supporter or Conventional, is subscribed. You have 7 days to withdraw from the subscription, and the Supporter Plan includes 5 instances. The details are in [Supporter Plan](https://docs.stchat.app/en/agencias/plano-apoiador.md).

On the Conventional Plan, canceling during the trial keeps access until the end of the 7 days, with no charge. Canceling after payment keeps access until the end of the paid month.

## Create the first client

In Organizations, use **New client**. The wizard has 5 steps, and inviting the client is one of them. Each client starts with an organization, and users are invited through it.

## Next steps

* Assign an instance to the client's organization. The channel type (WhatsApp by QR code, official WhatsApp, Instagram, and others) is chosen when you assign it.
