# Kits

> Ready-made templates by industry so you can start a client with the setup already done.

A kit is a set of ready-made settings for an industry. It helps you get a client up and running without building everything from scratch.

## Official kits

The official STChat kits are in **Templates › STChat official**:

* Clinics
* Retail · Black Friday
* Education
* Dealerships
* Real estate
* Gyms
* Law
* Restaurants

## What a kit includes

Before you apply it, each kit shows what it creates. Depending on the industry, a kit includes:

* pipelines with the Kanban stages and the loss reasons;
* contact fields and tags;
* quick replies;
* flows, created turned off so the organization can turn them on after checking;
* calendars, with appointment type and public link;
* draft campaigns and segments.

Some items depend on modules or integrations that the organization needs to have. In those cases, the flow stays off and the screen shows what is missing.

## Apply a kit

You can choose a kit when you create the client, in **New client**, under **Start with**, or apply it later to an organization. Choose the organization, check what will be created, and apply. Anything that already exists with the same name stays as it is. If the kit needs information that is missing, the portal asks for those fields before applying.

## What a kit does not do

A kit does not assign an instance or use a slot. The agency decides when to assign. See [Instances and channels](https://docs.stchat.app/en/agencias/instancias-e-canais.md).
