# How to choose the agency plan

> Compare the Supporter Plan and the Conventional Plan and confirm your choice on the portal's plan screen.

## What it is for

Every agency needs a plan to use the portal. On this screen you compare the Supporter Plan and the Conventional Plan and sign up for one of them. Both unlock the portal and unlimited organizations.

## Who can do it

Only the agency Owner subscribes to the Supporter Plan. For the Conventional Plan, the screen does not say who can do it; if the purchase does not go through, ask the Owner.

## Where to click

After you confirm the sign-up email, the portal opens the **Choose the agency's plan** screen. If you left it, open the address `/plano/escolher` in the portal.

## What changes between the two plans

| Cancel and come back | Single sign-up: if you cancel after 7 days, you can't subscribe again | Cancel and subscribe again whenever you want |

The Supporter Plan is on sale until December 31, 2026.

> The choice is final. With an active plan, the agency can't switch from one plan to the other. An agency that ended the Supporter Plan can sign up for the Conventional Plan.

## Step by step

**1. Choose the plan**

Select the plan card. On the side, **Your choice** shows the price and the included instances, and **Which one?** sums up the difference.

**2. Confirm that you understand**

Check: "I understand the plan choice is final and I won't be able to change plans later."

**3. Click to subscribe**

The button shows **Subscribe to** followed by the plan name, or **Start** followed by the trial days, when the plan has a trial.

**4. Confirm in the dialog**

Read the question **Confirm the … Plan?** and click **Confirm and subscribe** or **Confirm and start the trial**. To review, use **Go back and review**.

**5. Pay**

Payment is made on a secure page. When it is done, the portal is unlocked.

## What happens next

If the agency already has a plan, the screen shows **The agency is on the … Plan** and the **See my plan** button. The Supporter Plan is covered in [Supporter Plan](https://docs.stchat.app/en/agencias/plano-apoiador.md). If you don't sign up for a plan by November 20, 2026, the dashboard is blocked, and any plan that is up to date unlocks it again (see [Deadline and blocking](https://docs.stchat.app/en/agencias/prazo-e-bloqueio.md)).

## Common errors

* "Couldn't load the plans." Use **Try again**.
* "Couldn't confirm the plan. Nothing was charged and no plan was chosen. Try again."
* "The Supporter Plan is not on sale right now."
* "This agency can't subscribe to the Supporter Plan."
* "Only the agency Owner does this."
* "Couldn't open the payment. Try again."
